123 Locality, Low Buttes SSW of Fernhouse in E 1/2 NW 1/4, sec. 34, T. 17 N., R. 23 E., about 2.3 miles airline SSE of Firestool. Siliceous graywacke butte cyp with much "Helymenites" and scattered, rare fossils including Tancredia, ammonite frag., oysters, Phirus acbrascens and a meter+ shippod clem. This cyp mapped as Hell Crr by Curtis. No exposures below indurated bed. Could be either upper TIL or Colgato. (B-1 on packages shipped) 124 Locality Butte just NW intersection of S.D 8 and SD 63, in Here indurated sand in Tancredia-Helymenites biofacies with soft sand beneath locally no sign of any brindle beds. (B-2 on packages shipped) 125 Locality Road cuts on S.D. 63, about 1.6 miles S of junction with E. A graywacke sand with Helymenites-Tancredia assoc. and foraminifer cones with some other fossils incl. Sphenodiscus, mcztra, O. pulcida in clusters, Peonoe, P. linguiformis. Locl indurated masses in this sand are light gray & similar though not as hard as butte-cyp sands B-1 and B-2. The fauna is identical & this is typical upper TIL, zones B-3 on packages shipped 62
