4 Similar set-up to 3 but higher, lb sud+sh at base in crack cut gets sandier upward with sandy concs binds sh. + some liq. Petty joke found Sphenodiscus in lower pzvt. Possibly T.I. faunaz. 5 scattered gutter crops showing lb sud and shale, sand increasing upward, locally a few irridescant plate ammonite shell, prob. Sphenodiscus Impressions: looks like good possibility of carrying know F.H. sequence in from 73 and hooking it to Opal-Red Owl zvez sequence. Seems only chance to 'crack' the stratigraphy. Apparently Avence- Mercus Rd sequence thus suspect Opal Rd section, similar but with more sand possibly cutting down "banded" Pierce -> x bedded ss platey concs (few) lb sud+ sh liq ptyz lb sud+ concs some fossils lb sh some sud small + long cones "Pierce" 1x sud 1 styoz Or sand layers in Rt column & thicken westward) Believe Stoneville coals over both stratigraphically and could = local liqs in beds equiv. banded beds + Galyte to E or could be brszl Hell Cr. 61.
