Locality ~~56~~ 128 C305 float Section: A Starts in Elk Butte Shzle at least 35' above river flat about in center of a meander scar, 35'+ up on slope. (1) 15.0-? Shzle, dk gray, blocky to chippy, very finely silty; locally weather brown stain on fracture surfaces. Scattered red weather limestone concretions in upper 4.0 and fairly persistent layer of small ones (up to 0.8) bedding diam, at top. (2) 15.8 As in (1) below except few silty layers begin to come in in upper 3.0. At top is CaCO3 stone cone layer of light gray to rusty brown, light brush gray siderite. Another cone in trench 5' from top is siderite! Fizz only on powder. (3) 0.6 Dk gray silty clay (more silty thru mdd) (4) 0.3 Brown stained mottled "nodule zone" A486 SO6 samples. (5) 2.0 Gray clay, silty, with irreg blobs + stringers of silt. CaCO3 cone layer at top; local cone-in-cone jackets. (6) 6.0-? Interbedded + inter lmn, dk gray silty clay and light gray silt. Weather's deep rusty brown. Slump cover
