locally. Beginning 1.5 to 2.0+ feet above base are scattered red, small oval, irreg., log-like cones. Some with spherulites. This is zone in which spherulites occur locally. Cones are grey to, buttle weather creamcolored to reddish grey tints, many have furoidal surface marking, most are beaven. About 1' from cone layer zt top is foot+ ofy OB with sand. At top Psotocervix layers - mostly beaven, weather red brn grey silt jochels. few weather cream.
