Shale, dark gray, weathers gray, flaky
finely silty, some silt
laminize and puds. 6.0 from base
is vfq sand + silt layer
impreg. with jvrosite. Between
this jvrosite layer and
ebentonite shale is blocky to
splintery and brownish gray
with some pink cast and
purple brown stain on fractures.
