Shale, dark gray, slightly silty,
weathers gray. Contains settled
purple to purple brn weth cones.

Shale, silty, weathers light gray.
The change in color here is
widespread and appears fairly
sharp on weathered surfaces. But
in trench no break, just fairly
abrupt increase in silt streaks,
pods + grains.
