Resembles SS below unit 5. In upper foot becomes shaly (10) 5.0 Lignitic shale, weathers liq. brn, commonly has gray blocky bentonitic shales at base (11) 2.5 - ? silt, light gray, locally indurated (SiOz?) to blocky, platy gray white ledge with orange stains on some surfaces. Caps bluff locally Locally soft. Some big chunks wood in place.
