LOC. 20-A
Southwest-facing bluffs southeast of
locality 20, on some west-treading
spur as 20, in the NW¼, sec. 9,
T. 20 N., R. 27 E, Little Eagle 7½' gwdy,
Corson Co.
Here the Timber Lake-Trail City
contact is sharp and the "abyssinus"
conc. layer comes in a few feet
below it. Most these concs are
broken but some have fossils.
They are typified by numerous
juveniles, abyssinus, mendzensis,
nebraskaensis, and Plinguiiformis.
One or two of these found here,
but exposures not good. Better
exposures at Loc. 63 to west.
Also present are Gervilliz and
Nicolleti concs. Total Trail City not
exposed but can be blocked in on its
conc layers.
Elk Butte exposures are not good on
west and south. Little possibility of
section. Use Cobbzus.
