(4) 15.5 Shale, gray, scattered silt laminae and thin beds, weathers (silt) yellowish gray. 4.5 from base scatt. red brown weath brings small limy concs. About 10' up, is concs locally (5) 8.9 Silt, shaly, interbedded with gray shale as below, contact gradations) Silt beds up to 3" thick. Zone scattered dk gray ls concs in cone+cone silt jackets in upper 1.5, with jackets up to 4' long diam (II bedding) rare fossils, ammonite frags. Also scattered red-brown weath. ls. concs, calcite fret filling, 1.5 from base. Upper concs have golden calcite in cracks. (6) 10.0 Shale, as below (5), possibly with fewer silt beds, thicker shtle beds. At top, in grass roots, is zone scattered dk-blue ls. concs which weather with OB to red brown surface-no jackets, loc between. Concs float?
