5 1.7 Silt, silty, light brownish gray, carbonized plant specs 6 6.3 Siltstone, clayey, hard blocky. Light gray, weathers to checked surface. Upper 2.0+ greenish gray, softer grades to brownish lignitic silty clay at top. Spotty jerosite stain lower half. 7 3.0 Silty, brown, silty, streaks lignite. 8 10.5 Sandstone, fine-grained, friable weathers to checked light gray surface OB+ jerosite stain at base. Lignitic sand layer 7.2 to 7.5+. Above this lig layer sand weathers yellowish gray, has some thin beds & patches of shale & lign. Sand This unit becomes clayey laterally, generally fairly clayey in upper foot. 9 1.5 Silty shale, brown, lignitic. 10 4.0 Silt, clayey - mixed zone of 'worm-whale', mottled gray & light gray clayey silt & silt.
