Have about 2 feet of fluted Colgate-like ss at base may be the top of Fox Hills. Washon Flz t (1) 1.0 Sandstone, chiefly f-g, "subgraywacke" lt gray, weathers fluted, has some brownish str. Jevoshtic nodules on top. sharp contact - invcq. (2) 0.5-1.0 Head ligmatic silt, loc. shelly plant- fregs brown to purple gray. (3) 5.0 Silt, clayey loc., silty clay in basal 1.0 t., light gray, weathers checked to locally hard crust. Has numerous Irveq. ferrug. concs w/eth OB and purple, Scelf upright tree trunks. rooted in (2) below (4) 0.3 t Benfouite 54
