Ophiomorpha Section 1 B Unit 1 19.0 Measuring up from base of sand, Sand, vfq, tabular x-lam in lower 4 or 5 feet, becoming massive, irreg. x-lam above. Weather yellowish orange. Zone of concretionry ss. between 5+ 10 feet above base. Locally intraformational cgl at top conc. layer. - Fossilit. - Also fossils in sand in local rare lenses. Coll #2. Ophiomorphs common. Belemnitella, Nucula, Murchie, Tenurocia, Lunzita etc Unit 2 A 16.8 Mostly covered, to layer small studdy gray weathering cones. Rare Nucula. Spot expos show irreg. thin interbedded shale dgr & sand. ss in next Unit 2 B 13.8 Gray silty to study shale some interbedded sand. Irreg. inter beds, x-lm loc. fairly thin. 1.5 + 3
