(2) Starting base of 0.5 or .6 blue bentonite base of butress zone. 0.5 Bentonite - light bluish gray (1) 20.6 Shale, ppy clay, qyp + jzvo slate stringous to 0.1 bentonite streak at top. #1-4' from base, #2, 8' from base #3, 1' from top (2) 5.6 Shale as below, with flat oval cones light gray + yellowish gray ls. about 2 to 4 foot interval above base. (3) 0.4 Bentonite (4) 18.0 Shale, ppy clay, qyp + Fe bezculites, bones + fish scattered throught.. 0.1 streak bentonite at top, and 4.4 + 6.0 from base, #4-1' from base, #5-9' from base, #6 - 3.2 ft from top. (5) 7.0+ Shale, ppy clay, qyp, locally flat oval gray weather ls cones weathering out in interval. Bentonite streaks 0.1 about base and at about 3, 4, + 6 approx. (6) 0.6 Bentonite + shale, with local cone-in-cone cones 0.2 bent, at base & 0.1 - at top Loc. Thin masses cone-in-cone yel.-orange weather crusts. 6
