Aug. 2 Dinner F 2.06 -------- 2.06 Cashed Jim wanted me to go out to his locality on Jewett Reach this AM but was too sore to do it so we said goodbye & he went there and on to Pierce zrcz. Wrote Jeff, Betty + Vin did double wash and weed. Jerry and Pete departed for Montana about 8:30 in truck, leaving us feeling low & stranded. Joined the dinner at Cuchos (etc) & retired early
