JPMYARS 1977 Calidris pusilla Prudhoe Bay, N. Slope, Alaska 30 July well yesterday's entry may have been an exaggeration. There still are some pusilla juveniles around, largely in the littoral (but also in isolated low wetlands and lake margins (bare mud surfaces)). But they definitely have crested.
