Timber Lake or Colpeta sand with hard "buttecap" lodes. Locality along rd transition from sand to ss can be seen. Here distribution of wood caps is at 102 levels in the sand, and in diff. directions. This set lower than other (2) at least 4 thick loc, much Ophiomorpha many burrowed trails on bedding, few no Tenuicidz, one pocket Pteriz-Ostrac assoc. (see sample) 20'+ carbon 15'-1 Sand, gray with jasperite, fuzible layers to impreg, sh scattered x-1cm to massive, Ophiomorpha locally. at road level lower undevelped layer begins to come in. Lower layer contains fewer Ophiomorpha, less burrowing, but one patch Ostrac-Pteriz assoc. found. No Tenuicidz seen (see sample) 34
