Locality 33 - chiefly road best sides of dirt secondary clue south of Eagle Butte 2 1/5 - 3+ miles, chiefly on that pvt in S 1/2, sec. A succession of slumps of fossils, pvt of Timber Lake. Unfortunately none of blocks lend selves to a trustworthy section, But the south knob & north knob (see diagrams) have best actual exposures. South of S. Knob along road, foss conc layer in in E bznkt rd around small knob 70yd't S of intersection, Knob itself has Big Cucullzea concs on it, possibly in place relative to concs in road cut and 10.5-12 ft above them. CAZ layer conc's in Szw she & clunchy end #15, cones & lepid sand Zumpiza & intersecting E cut-off S Knob. Water E cut-off small knob ? in place berren here berren here S. knob float conc A-4674 one conc? coll A-4673 Proto, Proto, Oxy, P. linguiformis concs A 4676 pvt of Pteriz conc from 1st place Only well defined part of succession is that with large purplish-red withing concs with Big Conc's and lodey sand 10' t below which contains sect. rbyrb with hard glue to greenish-y the Sandy concs. You found one in place wit Pt, Proto- Oxytame assoc & many small communities, this is coll. A-4673 A4674 was in float well down slope and looks like an "zygossinus" type assoc. with big Spheno layer - tho no such layer established at this locality. A4675 is float from a variety of places in zone 30
