Loc. 272, Low knob east of Firesteel Creek and south of "Colgate" copped buttes in the NE1/4NE1/4NW1/4, Sec. 33, T19N, R. 23E, Blackhorse SE quad, Corson Co, So.Dzk- Southwest face has small exposure At approx. 20 feet below top of knoll is contact of T.L. Memb. and Bzuled beds Rich T-O fauna just below it with Tenucria, Mactra, small Ostrea, Penope. A-4657 Note that this one of few Bullhead exposures seen thus far on E side of creek. Relation of this knob to butte 500 ft. due north can't be determined. No cone-in-cone seen here at TL-Bullhead contact, Loc 273, Exposures in valley wall of tributary of Firesteel Creek in Sec. 34, T.19N, R 23 E, Black Horse SE quadrangle. Two best are SE1/4,SE1/4, NW1/4 in SW-facing bank, and in center N1/2,N1/2, SW1/4, in NE facing cut. Here 50+ feet of Tenucria-Ophiomorpha fecies in TL exposed without break and no top or bottom contact. An obscure fault of unknown but probably small displacement seen at bank east side of west bend in minor gully in center N1/2,NE1/4,SW1/4,SW1/4 Downtrow is on the SW, trend about NWSE Contact of TL with about 3 or 4 ft Bullhead, and the cone-in-cone cones, on southwest against T-O fecies on NE.
