36 shaley, capped by intermittent layer of concretions. Cones have hard inner core weathering red brown to somewhat purple, thin limonitic yellow surrounding shell and outer spongy grey sandstone shell. No fossil. (23 OF - 26 OF) 21'8" light brown shaley sand capped by persistent zone of typical* F.H. concretions. Zone spongy, fossiliferous, no identifiable forms picked up. Total Section = Approx 76' * = Hard core of red brown weathering fine grained (argillaceous or calc.? ) rock with outer spongy grey ss. shell.
