32 lower 3' Upper hard sandstone weathers brownish to brown-red. (15 16 17) 16'9" + to top of butte consists of hard grey sandstone with Halymenites described above. This sandstone crops all butte in vicinity, - is rather loosely jointed. Total Thickness. - approx 95' Comments.- Below Big spheno zone + within 20' of it occur several cone zones. Relations obscured by slump & tubes. Small spheno zone of small grey very-fossiliferous cones occurs immediately below it, may occur with it, but does not occur above it. These carry small spheno, Discos pteriios. Same as at 13 B.
