(41 includes 13 & 13A) Locality 41 MR4-2 (#13.) Route 63. 4 miles north of Moreau River on ridge top. Shell layers in grey ss. layers in soft grey dirty sand. Uppermost shell horizon. (#13A) Route 63. Ridge 100 yds S of #13 Big spherule present also small spherules, only big ones found in place. Two zones of concretions exposed - clu west-side cut, large iron stained conc. with big spherules + vecellae abundant. On east cut, 50yds south a zone of highly fossiliferous, small very hard gray concretions bearing small spherule + several species of discoscaphites. Stratigraphic distance between the two zones is not over 15 feet. compare
