2" yellow sulphur zone 3" shale nodular zone, very hard, calcareous. 1 1/4' Shale, dark grey, slightly blocky, sticky, some thin streaks of white sand. 8" yellow sulphur zone?, some limonite, some selenite. (Holbridge Member) 11' shale dark grey-sticky. Comments - No fossils - (Seager found slab of oysters) Bradish thinks Halymenites marks Colgate, no typical Colgate lithology present in any of sections seen with Bradish. Only basis for separating Colgate is Halymenite. one of several Pierre-F.H. contact drawn at basal 'yellow zone', several present in most sections.
