Scaphite frags. On western eastern margin of the Ant Hills & north ward the concs become increasingly fossiliferous containing Scaphites of various fore runner groups to those found in the Type Area. D. cheyennensis D. nebrascensis D. nicolletti; rabyssinus Also Sphenodiscus, Protocardia. c) Banded Beds. abt 100 ft. Thinly bedded ss. with some clay partings containing plant frags. Bedding surfaces frequently carry ripple marks or worm impressions. corresponds to Bullhead. Foreset beds of a deltaic plain(?) d) Colgate Beautiful white channel sands lying on the Banded in some places occasionally carrying a lenses of shells.
