south of which and running west into fjord between Hayter Head and Cape Colombo there is another glacier, South and West of Cape Colombo there is a very large glacier, I presume, The Rice Glacier. Kyttle Island cannot be seen. Colviers Island (what was called Colvier's Island) is a very dark, bold crumble of rocks now imbibed in a glacier stretching from the Rice Glacier West and connecting with a large glacier which fills all of Smith Bay and the whole circle of the coast around to Talbot Inlet. Stretching down the valleys from the mountains there are twelve feeders connecting with this coast glacier.
