Sand. 36° below tonight at 8 o'clock. The No.2 Graflex refuses to work at this temperature. The works of part of Columbus went by just as we were making tea, on their way to Annotch. Pandigale and wife are with them. While I have our Sledge today and E. hails a wheel down a curve from an elevation tin, thus losing much of our primer. Tuesday, March 27, Excellent going today, but not without lot troubles. When about half way across I stopped to untangle my traces. As- had not frayed for more than three minutes when a snuff I mind came with climbing drift and I was lost. The trail became obliterated.
