Mountain Annual Reques Land and Cafe Maundy Thursday 59° 15' Have climbed the hill finding it to be by aneroid 1200 feet in height. There we belied a large cairn about 5 feet high and 4 in circumference and deposited a record in a small bottle for some aeroplane to find at some future time. The view was magnificent. Three islands were discovered lying off the shore to the west. In the south west I could plainly see across the island what a large pool in the centre of which was a quite big Island. Through the planes I could plainly make out to what we all judged to be the sea lying off the southern coast. No signs of much -
