"Found my cabin on a magnificent jute J road. I am now shivering with cold and must get into my bag. Monday, March 27, 1916 to the day I left Flagler Fjord. We are more than carrying our average of 14 miles a day, having carried 112.5 miles in 6 marches, an average of about 19 miles a day, thus for all goes well. We should get Whales-VI tomorrow or next day. Arctic's fine little pup was left behind on the trail today with Gillowale. She was the finest pup I ever saw; it is a shame.
