Bearing of sun 244° Time 6-25 P.M. Up against it today hard. Five ½ hours we had the roughest kind of work to reach Victoria Peak, in order to so we were obliged to climb an old five ft at least 30 feet above water which would make it about 160 feet levels, it must have been too projecting tongue of a glacier as a piece of the glacial fringe of Grant Land. After battling its summit only with a great deal of difficulty and see it again with nearly as little. Even this five our progress landward was fairly rapid. We are in camp tonight about two miles from Point in Australian bay. Sea looks good.
