Feb 25th Much warmer & snowing much ice has come with the south east wind. My new tenants came in today & the old that were rescued, cost me 5.50 knor withers for dogskin stockings. Played checkers w overy, One slid goes tomorrow to see me in Stromfjord, expect will take two or three days Feb 26 Clear & cold much wet as far as can see fun small hills near house. East west wind. No open water. Feb 27th Cold & clear. Ice mering with stuck some. Did look today reports no ice whatever in Stromfjord, not even driftice.
