March 22. Too stormy to go home in which and they ask for 4 kron more to buy food with. I am forced to pay them in order to be able to get another remit from the Holstein if necessary. This is the last stage of the journey and it must be a success. Is snowing and blowing from north. Shall get some clothes here if possible. Mrs Frencher of Godomine mended & gave me a pair of her husband's under drawers. The stores in Greenland do not keep them. Shall have a pair tomibos resolved to a new pair made here suitable for ship use on Itars fjord. March 23. Continued cold. There is fringe ice along the shore which may prevent getting motor boat in water & there is no good remits here. I shall have to make here and can possibly go to.
