Ice poor, started
[today] went 5 sledges
found ice gone, &
slept on ice foot
Feb 10th,
after trying to get
along on ice foot and
land finally found
it impossible and
turned back...

Feb 11th,
after some trouble
get back to Polverno
about noon.
