May 25. Ment to Saunders Island with Gingrea. Found Cofie done'd well & cheerful. Shot several Musks & one hettimake, slept on gravel outside tent, very comfortable, can broken up and made in to see feet at bird cliffs. Foggy May 26. Clear in morning, foggy later. Corner digging snow from old eglass. May 29 Gingrea brought canal out. I went back with her to examine, hers has left today with the boat, & for the ship. Brought aboard 15 abats.
