interested in the news
that our Cliff was at
27 - below below Yamanah.
They thought we had
returned because of open
water. Coming in tonight
we encountered three leads.
One was bridged with the
sledges and dogs walked
over. Three or four froze
or rather fell in trying to
jump. For this time of
year I have never known
it so cold. Yesterday this
side of Yamanah it was at
least 20 below Zero. Our
goods were packed and
our traces stiff. Having an
wet blanket I changed at
29 - below da coming so was very
comfortable for last 12 miles.
Thursday, Nov. 9th.
Trying to make logs was
comfortable today. Regarding
cameras getting ready for
an early start in the morning.
