5 P.M. 22- 7 P.M. 25- 9 P.M. 26- 6 P.M. 24- 8 P.M. 25- Surprised on going up to feed our dogs this time to find interior of much open not frozen. They were killed 3 days ago. This verifies as to the warrantee of the trick hides. But the meat was tainted within 24 hours. Saturday April 4th Heavy going Friday for most of the ways but we have made at least 30 miles and are tonight in camp at Hrillberg. Near our iglos the boys found 2 cans of jennison and 2 cans of condensed milk which must have been left by Sverdrup in 1902. They are both in good condition although the jennison tastes a little stale. It is exactly like that we had on Pedry expedition and must have been just us
