"It was the first of May and we encamped at "Maiden" or "May Point" camped at 79°17'. Saw much open land rises evenly to the north to Depot-Goden after passing Depot-Goden - "We now set the course on a high bluish- black greenish promontory which we saw to the north and which we called "Blaa-manden" or the "The Blue Man". Saw wolf tracks. Camped at Sudergraul-Bergat, north of us was a very high mountain, which fell perpendicularly into the sea. So overwhelmingly large did it appear to us both that we both thought it to be, without exception, the highest mountain we had seen on the expedition." Afterwards we called it "Blaafjeld" or "Blue Mountain" Kvitberg - White Mountain. At Suder-graul-Bergat found 5 tent-pings and remains of fox trips. This means "Better Porridge Mountain". Started back on May 13 to. "Vashereaf" or "Fair Cafe"
