On ice near mouth
of Bay Fjord.
Got one very large
male bear yesterday,
tore off skin claws
skull & all for seeing
if deserved. Took musk ox.
13th sleep
in lee of iceberg off
North end of large
Island off mouth of
Bay Fjord, windy & wood
came early. May fresh
leon tracks, killed ten
musk ox on land near
camp. have 9 skins
