Dec 9 left snow house at 11 A.M. arrived Omendi at 9 P.M. and letter for Mrs. from Passmagen who had left with the missionaries 5 days ago, about for supercargo. Stegani Mibya's elder sick girl is better, Combingwa arrived at midnight! Fairly good travelling, but dogs feet sore, and bleed some. Dec 16. Heavy snow wind, once snow blowing. Had breakfast of tea & biscuits (dog) at 7 A.M. Saw sick girl; she is getting well and seems to have had a fever probably typhoid. Sepoyre physic did her good. Gave Mibya Aspirin tablets. Made fire in mission house & moved in, it was not locked.
