Sunday Bgrol. March 15th 1914 Still very windy. After breakfast it ashinere's report of the wolf which had been about for some days, as nearly, and got & shot at it from in front of house. Jots second shot apparently broke a leg, the wolf sat down and star at me mawel afterwards making off on three legs, I shot once missing, got again hit but the wolf made off. The skin went into get woman clothing and after following a short distance I found wolf lying down badly hurt, & ran home for and I was forced to shoot it from behind. It then lay down but was only crippled in hind legs and its intestines were dragging. I came back to house after my 22 fistl
