(6) for a man to defend his age, a better way is to prove it. On left 25- I left here at 4 o clock in the after- noon in our little 12 foot yunt. The nights were dark and the water was freezing. I rowed all night through ice and through herds of walrus, out around Cape Alexander in a dense fog and snow storm continually for 18 hours and a half waking clear the next morning. Years ago I might have been able to do this but I doubt it. My arms were not the least tired but my legs were a bit wobbly. This is personal but I know that a good sister worries at times over her brother who might be rich. She has been the healthiest of the whole party and will continue to be so, to remain so I am. Going to bed. That's 11:30 and Dave had a long drive Friday. Good night my dear, lovingly yours Dan
