"Put" again and "4 arrived at sea ice below Cape Chalon. Here at Wely I have a good warm Eskimo igloo which I was planning to use as a hunting station. Job has been here for six weeks and is at home now-- as I drove into Karnak about 30 miles below there Os-tale North Pole came pan out to meet me. Apparently he imagined the news first that my provisions had been landed some distance below Karnak, second that Green was on his way to Cdale while I thought strange as he had gone home in the cliff, and third that the cliff had either gone down or up he did it round which !! the next day Green came in and gave me the whole story. Learning here also they were circled by ice and obliged to winter in Parker Snow--
