"Put" again and "4 arrived at sea ice
below Cape Chalon.
Here at Wely I have a good
warm Eskimo igloo which I was
planning to use as a hunting station.
Job has been here for six weeks
and is at home now--
as I drove into Karnak
about 30 miles below there Os-tale
North Pole came pan out to meet
me. Apparently he imagined the
news first that my provisions had
been landed some distance below
Karnak, second that Green was on his
way to Cdale while I thought strange
as he had gone home in the cliff, and
third that the cliff had either gone
down or up he did it round which !!
the next day Green came in
and gave me the whole story. Learning
here also they were circled by ice
and obliged to winter in Parker Snow--
