J.P. Myers 1975 Calidris bairdi (75,88) CCS, Pt Barrow, Alaska 13 June 1400 - beginning to census baird city - which P. Connors found this a.m. Much activity now but according to Connors not as intense as morning. Immediately upon arrival we found a trio chasing, calling their warbled note then landing on separate cleared mounds and wing flicking - when the wing toward the other bird is held extended upright (in fact more than upright - slightly bent over towards otherside view from back 7 birds seen in first 4 minutes.
