Fruiting pedicels widely spreading, slightly arched. Silique pendulous. Sepals greenish-purple. Petals light to dark lavender. Rocky hillside in gravel detritus. near mountain meadow, 8 mi NNE of [illegible], [Washington] Co., Utah May 23, 1981 subsp. holictum (Cbell.) Ritting 81113 - Descurainia pinnata (Walt) Britt. Plants fleshy, intricately branched beginning near base. Up to 2 ft. thick and 1 1/2 ft. across. Stems reddish. Flowers yellow. Between Prito and Enterprise 5 mi. W. of Prito Washington Co., Utah May 23, 1981
