UTAH 8186 - Aralis pendulina Greene var. muscosa (Roll) Roll. Perennial. Stems few to numerous arising below terminal rosette of erect leaves. Plants reddish to green. Siliques slightly arched on widely spreading pedicels. Sepals and petals purplish. Growing in cliff rock or an open flat, open ponderosa pine area. 3.5 mi W of junction of US 89 and state route 14, along 14 Kane Co., Utah May 21, 1981 8187 - Phryaria chamberii Roll. Perennial. Stems several arising below a terminal rosette of entire or inconspicuously dentate leaves. Siliques ultimately inflated, 4-angled, not keeled on the margins. Upper sines deep, lower sines varying from very shallow to deeper and rounded. Steep hillside in heavy clay soil. 5.8 mi E of Cedar City on S.R. 14, Iron Co., Utah - May 21, 1981
