numerous arising below terminal
rosette of erect leaves. Plants
reddish to green. Siliques
slightly arched on widely
spreading pedicels. Sepals and
petals purplish. Growing in
cliff rock or an open flat,
open ponderosa pine area.

or inconspicuously dentate
leaves. Siliques ultimately inflated,
4-angled, not keeled on the
margins. Upper sines deep,
lower sines varying from very
shallow to deeper and rounded.
Steep hillside in heavy clay soil.
