E of US 89 on Alton Road, Kane Co., Utah. May 20, 1981 8182 - Aralies pendulina Boern. var. ruscus (Roll.) Roll. Perennial. Stems few to several. Unique, arising below tuft of erect leaves. Corolline leaves few, remote. Pedicels widely spreading. Silique slightly arched downward. Growing in calcareous chip rock. Ponderosa pine forest.
