Holmgren perennial, stems one to several from a woody base, up to 1 meter tall, leaves entire, glaucous, stems glaucous, pedicels divarically ascending siliquee ascending to widely spreading straight or uneven, steep slopes and side crevices of igneous rocks, mostly ins shade below rock cliffs. South end of Black Rock Range, Humboldt Co. June 15th T37E, R26 E cn. 4800 ft. 79243 Aralicia pubenda Nutt. specimens past - sagebrush area- as 79242 (3) T37N, R26 E about 11 air miles south of the Pinto Meadows Ranch
