Siliques 4 angled with a V-shaped sinue above and no sinus below. Growing in volcanic ash. Abundant. Sunset Crater area, about 14 miles N of Flagstaff, Coconino Co. June 9. Siliques inflated. Utah 79198 Phrymcea Rollins lucidota chapmanii Roll. Branches rising below terminal rosette of leaves. Leaves entire. Flowers yellow. Siliques 4 angled. Apical sinus closed. Steep rocky clip rock slide. 1/4 mile W of junction of Utah-15 and US 89. Between Kanab and Zion Nat'l Park, 20 miles E of Zion Nat'l Park, Kane Co. June 10
