Arizona 79191 Lesquerella arizonica sp. nov. Decumbent branches arising below terminal flat rosette of leaves. Calyx purplish, petals white. Silique slender, somewhat killed when young. Silvery clay on knolls with whitish rock. Open parklike area, 18.6 miles E of Jacob Lake on road to Grand Canyon, Coconino Co. June 8 79192 Lesquerella arizonica Wats. Stems numerous from clumps up to 6" in dia. Petals sinquiculate. Abundant on horizontally bedded limestone, about 5 miles E of Jacob Lake, Pinion-juniper area. Coconino Co. June 8 79193 Lesquerella cinerea Watson Inflorescence terminating the plant. Pedicels widely spreading to ascending, nearly straight. Silique erect, slightly compressed parallel to septium.
