"16027 P argentatum Nearly pure stand of guarule on a southeast gentle slope. Limestone gravel. Plants variable in size and age up to 2 ft. high, relatively uniform. Show little or no evidence of introgression. Not much opportunity for constructive plant selection. Very dry. Many plants beginning to wilt. Unable to tell if this has affected the seed quality. 6.7 miles north- west of Ocampo on road to Sierra Mojada, Coah. Aug. 26, 1976
