Mabel 1959 Journal way I found 3 red-throated loon nest. Also took a few picture of a small caribou herd which was grazing toward me. I concealed in a small excavation at the top of the ridge but I was squirrel from them & at about 2:00 p.m. they caught my scent & began drifting off again. I stood up and took a few pictures anyway. Fg Found a [illegible] fourth red-throated loon nest on return. Every pond of any size one in the marshy area has a loon pair on it. Back at tent lay 5:30. After brief supper checked red-throat nest behind camp ridge. Now has 2 eggs, one laid since last yesterday evening. Also found the Golden Plover nest above camp - 4 eggs. A stiff breeze is beginning to blow again, it looks like mid flight Today & pure. June 21 Citronage Lake, Alaska Went over to check on Roughtail pair #11 by Owl Ridge. Found their nest with 2 egg. Checked on Portail nest lay ridge 2, found Golden Plover nest. Checked on Plamigan nest on way in. At 1:30 the plane arrived with Haale Childs aboard; we loaded aboard & went
