a few interesting thing missing. Swade
sleeping bag. My duffle bag with clothing etc.,
The box made to house my camera
recording equipment. That all missing I
think. On the credit side is the fact that
we got our own grocery order plus the
grocery order intended for Mike Daniel at
the Colville River. On the debit side is
NO COFFEE. What a blow. - however
2 cases of Vottle chocolate compensate for this.
Cleaned out rice cellar - full of Quamme
& fox dropping - repaired the top &
insulated it with sod. Put meat in -
hope this gets cold enough as we have
much too much meat.
Went for a walk from 6 to 9 V.M.
upriver to second stream - inland half
mile or so & both overlands. Snow is
gone except for large drifts in ravines
& along river, Siphonia ophryfolia is blooming
as is Bemm, the blue anemone & several other
mat flowers I can't name.
June 13 Litninger River, Alaska
